To all the graduates of the University of Makati Class of 2022,
our hardworking teachers, and our beloved family, I extend my sincerest and warmest congratulations on this milestone.
Your graduation is a significant time in your life, and you all should be proud of it. This event is a culmination of a journey made possible by the connections you have established with your friends, family, and teachers. Regardless of the struggles we all experienced in the past few years, especially during the pandemic, your perseverance alone is a testament to this generation’s supportive mindset and strength to push beyond expectations. I am optimistic that you will create a healthier future for all of us – one that inspires compassion and progress.
As the University celebrates its 50th Founding Anniversary, may we all be thankful for all the opportunities this remarkable institution has provided for Makati. For our teachers and UMak family, your service to the city ensures that we will continue to mold leaders and nation builders who will someday further deepen our sense of community. As we celebrate the University’s history, we also look forward to its great future. For all of UMak’s achievements, it will always be a place where we can still inspire each other to be better.
